I mentioned 3 ugly things he did, and you have purely focused on whether his victim reached for his eyes or not.
If you are basing it purely on reaction, why don't you think worse of his leg stomping? Or is that an over reaction? if so, how much is the perfect amount to react to a dog act? No...
No angel? What do you mean?
Hitting a bloke in the head thats being held down, scragging at his eyes, and stomping on the leg of an opponent have always been important and admired parts of our game. They show real toughness and should probably be rewarded.
Glad you are here to provide this...
I look forward to the tigers community trying to put this on Hurley while the pest gets a warning that he better not do anything else, or he might get another warning.
It was $1000 for the comment........$10,000 for the goal post. Make no mistake, it was just delivered the other way around so the decision not to penalise the goal post shaking wouldn’t look quite so bad.
“No umpire, I did not intentionally shake the post. I was just giving it a hard bump to intentionally intimidate my opponent. I did this repeatedly until you told me to stop. My intention was to intimidate him, not to shake the post. Any movement was an unintended consequence.”
If there is one thing I know about the high flyers in this world, it's that they love telling people on an anonymous internet forum that they are high flyers.
Open for debate, sure.
Wanting the same penalty as Mitchell however means you are happy for players to get away with this every week.
If 22 Port players come out and throw elbows at the back of every Tigers players head, nowhere near the ball next week, I expect you to suggest they should all...
So when is the right time to fix the mistakes of the past?
These are s**t acts and need to be stamped out. Letting them get off lightly in the past is wrong. If they turn around and say that light penalties in the past mean players can continue to get away with it in the future, players have a...
Tiger fans wanting less because of the Mitchell precedent are suggesting players should be allowed to elbow to the back of the head, way off the ball any time they like.
You either think it should be punished, or you think players should get away with it.
Was that this year?
If you are going by precedent you cant compare years. Some years gut punches are punished, yet this year it seems they are laughed at despite talk of wanting to come down hard on them.
You can't separate what someone said with the club written under their username?
You know I don't represent the EFC don't you? You also know that you not wanting a bad word said about the dickhead with a few tats won't actually change the fact he is a stain right?
Rolling stones.........
Been talking about stamping these sorts of incidents out of the game.
It's just a shame one of the protected species is behind it.
Puts the AFL between a rock and a Richmond fans head.
He will get the severest of talking to's, and sternly told that it would be good if he didn't do stuff...
