Until '17 that '95 semi was the fave game of most tigers fans that are too young to remember the Hafey era & also for some that were around in those days.
I hold huge value in what Players do or don't do in Finals, to me that is what puts players in the "elite" catagory & also goes the other way as well. On Dusty v Houli for the Norm Smith medal in '17 GF, i have heard the argument for Houli being he scored an important goal early, what those ppl...
Another thread about Richmond started by a Cats supporter that has nothing whatsoever to do with Geelong. I am starting to notice a trend here... #rentfree
Hocking & Co tell us "this is what the fans wanted" when they constantly change the rules of the game. So the question is, As a fan who attends games, have you ever been consulted by anyone running the AFL for your view on the state of the game?
Interesting thread & comment as well. if i'm honest the Brisbane Final was similar but they couldn't put the score on the board early, we started to get the upper hand in the 2nd term & ran all over them in the 2nd half, the Cats had us on the ropes at half time (both teams missed chances in the...
correct me if i'm wrong but isn't that the reason we go? i have the same issue in our Cheer Sqd as the group i sit with have made up our own chants are we are loud (we pay extra for the priveledge of sitting in this area per year) and people complain about us being too loud etc. yet thats what...
everything is going too corporate in general, they should leave the Cheer Sqd's alone as they get thier hands dirtier than any of the Corporate's do in thier entire lives. all things the Cheersquads do is voluntary & all Corporate's are way above that in thier own little world.
look at both GCS and GWS! they both get an extra "priority pick" in the Draft this year again! they'll both be smashing sides week in, week out in 3 years time. they are guarenteed success by the AFL.
i agree here, before this season we have only played each team once each per season and only get one of them twice in a season for the 1st time this year.
thats been the frustrating thing thus far, Conca puts 3-4 really good games together then gets injured just when he's showing good form consistantly. hopefully he gets a full season this year
with the Tigers, we have to start beating the top sides more consistantly & not drop games we should win, we improved on this last year and need to keep that up.
North need to start winning close games & Essendon need to play out a full season which they have not done for a few years now. the...
having it over 2 weeks is an anti-climax in itself and having barely any games that excite aside from those involving our own team is another thing altogether.
whats wrong with hitting with 4 days of all blockbuster games, showdowns, derby's etc. it is rd 1 after all but this years is about as...
i get those games we did sell, but we not played GWS in Melbourne yet either, not even a double up against GS at Metricon...... AFL reckon they even it all up over 4-5 years so we'll see what happens when next years Fixture is released
i'd make the trade period be back to a week in length again, even then not alot happened in the 1st 2-3 days, having 2-3 weeks of nothing is overkill, they have enough time to negotiate etc before then. having the trade period before the draft is fine as it is.
