In terms of leadership none of us can really comment on that, but they are both very highly regarded. Both great players. Hird wins it for me due to his flexibility.

Carlton only beat Collingwood and the Bulldogs this year yet we are getting pumped up? In 2006 Hawthorn won 9 games, the only side they beat from the top 8 was Fremantle (once). IMO Essendon will be right up there for a mix in the finals, but are yet still a year off it.
