Last year i went 2 a Collingwood game against Hawthorn. At the start of the game i was booing Buddy but when we were getting thrashed and buddy just kicked his 4th goal i started standing up and cheering for him.
He is a Superstar

Only yell out loud if it's a ridiculous mark.

If it's an outstanding bit of play (eg goal, breaking the lines, clearances etc), I'll just curse to myself in frustration, which to the opposition is probably as good as cheering.

I can only remember doing it twice - Warwick Capper took a spekkie on Langfords head in a Waverley final in the late 80's...we were on our way to a big win so I could indulge in a minor clap. And the other time was actually last Saturday when Logan took that sensational mark right in front of me.

I just blurted out "MODRAAAAA".....deafening silence & the throng just turned and stared at me....felt very lucky to get out of there unscathed that day.

Generally not for great play or great goal. But I can't contain myself when it comes to witnessing an absolute screamer of a mark.

Good plays, good goals, good marks, yeah for sure, I'll say 'that was awesome' or nod appreciatively.

I just love footy and when a player, no matter who it is, does something that displays how the game should be played I'm quite happy to credit them for it.

Just like free kicks...when it's a clear free kick and fellow supporters are going off their nuts at the ump, I'm quite happy to say 'give it a rest mate, the free was there'. I'm a mad Cats fan and when it comes to the crunch I'll have a go, but there's no reason to be unreasonable.

However, without supporters that are the opposite to me I guess things wouldn't be so colourful so...play on.
