Kennedy?

Birch has pissed on him + 80% of other 05 draftee's.

If Birch is not top 5/6 something is wrong. Played every game since being drafted and is as clean and efficient as anyone.
 
pendlebury isn't the classiest from that bunch but i think he is a good leader and to come out and say that his team has passengers then he has some balls

2008 Stats

Ellis 19.1 disposals and 0.1 goals per game
Kennedy 12.7 disposals and 1.0 goals per game
Thomas 15.4 disposals and 1.1 goals per game

Vince 19.1 disposals and 0.8 goals per game

If Vince played for Collingwood, he'd be getting hyped Thomas style. 'Cause the plays for Adelaide, no one knows him. Doesn't mean he's not a gun.
 
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Stokes yet.

averages over 1.5 goals and 16 possies for his career in 46 games. Has done more then most others so far in this draft.

Get off the crack. Thomas gets media attention because of his popularity. He is far and away the most popular player at our club, shown by jumper sales, and as a result, he sells papers. It's not because he plays for Collingwood. And if you actually look at bigfooty, nobody even rates him because they hate him! So I don't know where this 'hype' is coming from, it's attention more than hype.

Name me one forward flanker who was a star in his third year. Ablett Jr, Chapman, Akermanis, Didak... all the best forward flank players had very similar stats to Thomas at his age, some of them were worse! Thomas is coming along very nicely for a player like him.

I've got nothing against Thomas, just picked him as an example 'cause he has similar stats to Vince and yes, the MEDIA, go ape over him. You think that if Vince played for one of the big Vic clubs that he'd have the same level of anonymity that he has for the Crows, given he's had easily as good a year as Thomas?

Commentators wet themselves when Thomas gets the ball. Vince is lucky if they call his name correctly.

Anyway. Doesn't change the fact that Porplyzia is the best player from the 2005 draft.

Yeah nah. Pendlebury is better than Thomas, does he get as much attention? Half of our team is probably better, but Thomas is the most popular, thus he gets the most attention.

Pendlebury and Murphy are the best from the national draft. Porpz has been great this year though.

Murphy and Pendlebury will be superstars in the coming years. Ellis is coming on now, we may see something good there also. The rest aren't much chop.

I cannot split Murph and Pendles.
 
Give Thomas some credit. He performs in finals, is an incredibly talented footballer and if he can be consistent he will win a Brownlow. He reminds me more of Daicos than Didak does, and that's saying something when you realize how good Didak is, no offence to him.
