My honest opinion,

yeah, they're awesome live, so funky... i've seen em twice @ the BDO now and once @ their own show, and they're really good... hopefully i'll catch them again in july @ the ding dong lounge...
but don't get their new cd, it has some good songs, but alot of em suck... they've tried to go more hip hop than choose one, and alot of the songs sound like mainstream hip hop... the reason they were so popular was because they had that different edge to them... hope they realise that when the make their next release...

I sometimes wish people would expand their horizons and realise that rap/hip hop is more than your Ludacris/Eminems/50 Cents etc. Rap = Crap. How original. Believe me when I say that there's so much great hip hop out there.

I realise you're young, but it's probably best to know your history before suggesting that people like Coolio, Missy Elliot or Kanye West are some of the greatest rappers of all time.

LOL no no noo, I never suggested Coolio,Kanye West etc were/are the best rappers, I just put in people as ideas..
Without a doubt, Chuck D. Great delivery, powerful voice (it was born for the funky drummer as one critic described it) and intelligent, positive, inciteful lyrics.
