Fantastic post, of have put Viney in the last group though. It's that annoying sort of conspiracy-minded, "hey, I'm just asking questions, I'm a free-thinker, don't pigeon-hole me" type of conservatism popularised by American podcasters like Jordan Peterson, Lex Friedman, Joe Rogan, et al. It seems to have been taken down now, but shortly after the 2021 GF, TMac went on some random youtube podcast and talked for an hour in vague terms about how "they" want to silence independent free-thinkers and how important it is to keep an "open mind" about political matters (I'm steeped enough in this stuff to know that this is code for buying unquestioningly into conspiratorial horseshit) with a host who literally had no idea that TMac had just played in an AFL premiership a month earlier.
Anyway, since you've all been asking for it, here's the players on our team I imagine have good political opinions:
- Max Gawn
- Ed Langdon
- Tom Campbell
- Marty Hore
The players I imagine have bad political opinions:
- Tom McDonald
- Charlie Spargo
- Jake Lever
- Jack Viney
The players I imagine would have somewhat incoherent political opinions, but who would still be fun to talk politics with:
- Steven May
- Kade Chandler
- Jake Melksham
The players who would smile and nod politely in agreement with literally every political opinion you share with them:
- Jake Bowey
- Christian Petracca
Players who have literally never thought about politics a single day in their lives:
- Bailey Fritsch
- Clayton Oliver
- Koltyn Tholstrup

Spargs is a pinger rat - he'd be all free love I reckon
I get Charlie Spargo and Steven May confused too.Spargs is a pinger rat - he'd be all free love I reckon
Anyway. If he does go to Collingwood, what do you think the token pick will be handed to us? 35? 53? Probably 53.
McDonald may have some different political views but seems to be pretty level headed with his team-mates. Never been half arsed with training etc either
See below:What are his different political views?

It might depend on the compensation for Spargo. If it’s a third then will cancel out. If north were offering enough money and years to trigger a 2nd then we would have to trade for MihochekMihocek is a free agent, so yes comes free without a trade.
Mate, it may be the off season and we've nothing to talk about... but take your politics shit somewhere else. This is a footy board. We come here to escape that crap. It's that annoying sort of conspiracy-minded, "hey, I'm just asking questions, I'm a free-thinker, don't pigeon-hole me" type of conservatism popularised by American podcasters like Jordan Peterson, Lex Friedman, Joe Rogan, et al. Not how free agency worksIt might depend on the compensation for Spargo. If it’s a third then will cancel out. If north were offering enough money and years to trigger a 2nd then we would have to trade for Mihochek
Spargo is a resting campaigner face.I've literally never seen him smile. People who don't smile can't be good people. People who can't be good people can't have good political opinions. This is all included in my manifesto. Please read and study my manifesto before you post again.
May is the Mt Eliza one, Prestia the Hawthorn one.Confusing tweet. Prestia and May are both 33. There are three people mentioned being charged with the 32 year old being far more serious than the other two mentioned.
Right so age at the time of incident maybe?May is the Mt Eliza one, Prestia the Hawthorn one.
Prestia just turned 33 a couple of weeks ago, so could be to do with that.
Not time of incident, cos May would have been 32 - Maybe just a delay between the charge and the media report?Right so age at the time of incident maybe?
Saw prestia denies the charges too.
Anyway, fantastic start to the off-season.

No wonder no clubs were interested in May despite him being free to a good home.
Unless he has incriminating pictures.Think it's a very easy culture setting move to just pay May out now.
“The other element from a football perspective, I’m aware of at least one club that decided not to look at Steven May in the trade period because they believed that he was going to be charged in the months following the trade period."No wonder no clubs were interested in May despite him being free to a good home.
Still a massive head-scratcher that we re-signed him before he'd even played a game this year while this was still hanging over his head.“The other element from a football perspective, I’m aware of at least one club that decided not to look at Steven May in the trade period because they believed that he was going to be charged in the months following the trade period."
