Jason Richardson is the best sports medi performer in the business bar none. I know he really isnt all over the footy, but is still sen and racings no 1 man. Some, i mean almost all of the footy media performers could learn alot of him. No needs to be a pompous arrogant flog

I'm not into horse racing. But that segment on Friday can hold my attention for the whole hour. I'm someone who gives The Conversation Hour with Jon Faine first shot for my attention from 11am.
As opposed to the Bryan Martin chat they have on Saturdays. That goes on about 3-4 months longer than it should.

Jase mate - nothing personal but you've got a squeaky voice that is tough listening.
You also waffle on about the ponies which I have no interest in.
You also have a fairly fake sounding laugh and come across as someone who is on overly good terms with himself (but why?).
No offence Jase m8 but whenever I hear your squeaky little voice I switch off.

They've sacked Shaw from his Sunday morning show with Finey and replaced him with Cooney. Bad move imo, they had good chemistry and Shaw knew what he was talking about

It's not Tony Shaw it's Robert Shaw.
Not a huge fan of Shaw, I find him a bit hard top listen to (a bit like Smokey Dawson) but I don't think Cooney is an improvement.

I had a painful few mins of sen listening last night. After 9. Some caller called in and the hosts were beside themselves. Kept saying the callers name in various tones, volumes. I think the callers name was duke.

Is Cooney any good as an analyst? Robert Shaw can waffle a bit, but his knowledge of the game is excellent.
He has the benefit of being recently retired so he knows what the players need to do etc, but I still don't really like him. Shaw was a lot better IMO but guess they want to force Cooney into the media.

Well it is evident that people out there harbour feelings about lyon and his past. Rightly or wrongly, it is an opinion which is not uncommon in the AFL world.

Not that I don't think he did the wrong thing, and I don't want to derail the thread, but hadn't Billy and Nicky gotten divorced? Or did the affair happen while they were still together?
It is true though, what you said. Plenty of people are off Lyon because of what he did and to be honest he probably needed a couple more years out of the spotlight/on the down-low before the reaction towards him became a lot less negative.
