Tim Watsons attempt at satire this morning with his Ross Lyon 'interview' was cringe worthy

Watson really has to go .
His non stop attempts at "hidden" schoolboy humor and constant double meaning statements/commentary in the desperate attempt for someone/anyone to think he is half clever only confirm the man to be the bona-fide buffoon he has always been .
He is lazy , unresearched , consistently biased , mostly uninterested and just way past any use by date anyone may have thought he had .
Lyon in the main is doing a good job and the effort seems to be there from him but it comes across to me at least that he is having to constantly carry the ever increasing burden that is Watson .

Watson was a great player but I think Lyon carries the show.

But his numbers are also the various live sport they’ve had, test cricket!, afl pre season, ladies football, all those contribute.

The slight rise on evenings doesn't mean anything, and they shouldn't be hanging their hat on it, because Finey's previous rating of 2.1 was an anomaly.

Evening though Fine and most of the station dropped off last year, he still rated in the mid to high 3s in the second half of 2017, then the 2.1 in survey 8 came out of nowhere. So Heverin rating 3 is still worse than Finey's 7 out 8 surveys.

The 3 rating for Jack in Survey 1 I'd love to see in more detail. Especially with the live Oz Open action, NBL, A-League, Cricket, AFLM practice matches and AFLW games.

Yes, no doubt, but I still reckon it was very odd, because Fine's previous survey 8 ratings were much better. Here they are, going backwards from 2016 to 2010:
