His 3rd quarter was bloody huge. I understand he does some dumb things but he was one of the reasons we won tonight. Was a part of a group of players that turned the match around.
going to give some credit, he shows up to contests. makes a few handballs, lays a few tackles.
But as I said, he does so much harm with his kicking- he undoes all of the good ground work that he does.

once you watch the replay youll see it better. and he nearly lost us the game in the last quarter.

Cant kick for shite. nearly lost us the game. does one good thing and then three bad things.
Dont hate the guy, I hate his football. he is only good forwards of the centre where he can kick a goal or two.
WTF that's the best game I have seen him play. He under the pacs getting it out nonstop. As for his kicking his dead eye in front of goals. But I have seen him on field kicking bad but tonight wasn't one of them. Hopper cops a lot also but he was great tonight also not one mistake. Now to clean up Vlaustins stupid mistakes that costs us goals every game and well be right lol

A lot of it will be synergy. We have recruited a lot of good kicks in 2021 & 2024 drafts. Banks, Brown, Sonsie, Gibcus, Clarke, Lalor, Smillie, Trainor & Armstrong. We will get to a point where Taranto should be able to make easy passes by hand & foot to a lot of these guys regularly.

Sonsies first pass nearly tore Old man Nanks hamstrings lol I'm still not convinced about him and sure as he will be bypassed by other newbies.

We are still going to end up with a lot of these guys in our best team going forward.
yeah sure we still have oldies that won't be around even next year Macca and Broads last season coming up and Lynch is one injury away (hope he gets to 100)

16.4km highest on the ground for an inside mid, this guy's work-rate is incredible.
It's understandable why he looks like he's jogging a lot of the time, but it's still very frustrating. Counted 3 times he could've upped the pace even slightly to actually make a marking contest.

I would suggest Taranto transition running will be what gets the better of him in the long run. Needs to continue to beast inside to make up for his lack of outside ability. Basically a poor man's Nat Fyfe.

thats one thing never in question, his work rate is exceptional.

But his work rate to effective ratio is one of the worst in the AFL. same with his kicking.

He made one really good handball, a few easy ones, lots of grub kicks,a few turnovers that really hurt us.

that from a nearly a million a year player is not good enough.

We started to get on top in the clearances & stoppages. He was one of the reasons we came back.

He had big impact in the comeback. we started to get on top in the clearances & stoppages.
It's more the fact that we found some speed and our young players started to lift. TT did nothing special bar one very good handball. in fact he did a lot of bad things (turnovers) that for me overshadowed his good things.

Can people for real now stop defending Taranto & Hopper from media criticism?
They are meant to be freaking leaders. Hopper's work-rate is terrible a times.
Taranto not going hard enough.

I see so many Tigers supporters defending him when Kane Cornes criticizes Taranto, I say let him!
mate io got a lot of push back, i saw him for what he is, a very low Iq footballer.

If we want TO IMPROVE WE GOT TO GET REAL. be lucky to be playing next year.
