That's the going rate apparently. My sister recently brought a set of good ol' fashion trackie daks. Lime green so they're butt ****ing ugly. They pretty much look like a great set of farting pants, just in an uglier colour.

They cost ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS. "Oh, but they're Stevie's!" Who the **** is Stevie? I want to punch him in the balls. I have never even heard of this label but I guess it's some sort of trendy new designer brand. Do they specialise in trackie daks? Do they perhaps have jet packs or something that gives you the ability to fly? It's just baffling.

Christ.

I bet they don't last more than a year, either.

I got a pair of adidas trackies in about 2002/2003 for probably $80 and they're still going strong (best pants ever :D) - no holes, not stretched, only a touch faded....well worth it. If I was going to pay $150 for a pair of trackies they would want to last, well, twice as long...

Trackies should not cost more than $5. They should be shipped directly from where they are made to Best And Less, or similar stores.

Hahaha. But they are not always quality. Whenever I've bought cheap trackies they don't last. These ones are in their 5th year...I think that's good value for money.

I don't normally pay huge amounts of money for one piece of clothing, but when it's really cheap, you usually get what you pay for (I'm looking at you Target).

BomberGal - "they don't last" is a ****ing ridiculous comment! I have heaps of cheapo trackies and they have all lasted, yes some are faded but they are still well awesome and I'm wearing an old pair right now. Hot.

Bought some for $15. All from China so whats the point paying anything more. Frankly I feel dirty having to fork out that much for such a clothing item.

Yeah they'll prob not last as long, but at $150 they'd need to last as long as ten pairs of these.

No wonder so many people are in debt.

I said "whenever I've bought them."

So, it's not a ridiculous comment. Read properly.

And when you say "lasted" how long do you mean?

I picked up my first pair of new trackies for years last week, which set me back 30 bucks. I have three pairs of trackies, one pair which has lasted for five years.

If those trackies didn't have Stevie on them, they'd sell for about 10% of what they're sold for now.

lol - funny post:D

Get her to flog them off down at the Corio Village. She'll not only get her $150 back but might also make some profit on the deal.

Never worn a pair of trackies in public in my life (And worked at a sports shop for a year too! I thought people were crazy spending $60-90 on Adidas ones, let alone $150!!!)

Hope you're not the type of person to buy $200 jeans then.

If you're stupid enough to pay $150 for a pair of trackie daks give yourself one of these.

The most i have spent on trackies is about $80 and that was a pair of adidas trackies on sale, but they have lasted ages and are still in perfect condition. I love the $10 ones from target, big W etc as they are so comfy for dagging aroung the house
