Okay you've got $15k sitting in an ING Savings Maximiser at 6.25% P.A.

That the best rate of interested going around at the moment?

Any risk-free places where a better rate of interest could be earned?

Find a friend with a home loan (at ~7%) and lend it to them to put on their loan and get them to pay you the some of the 7% they are saving.

Great way to avoid tax, and a great way to lose a friend.

So, don't bother, just leave it in ING.

Or, if you want some even better advice, go travelling and pi$$ it up against the wall.

Yeah Ive got the whole travelling thing planned, but it's just a bitch getting annual leave when you want it.

The only way I could travel how I want to is to probably quit my job...and it pays very well for my age....arghh.

I'm sure you can do better than 6.25% PA if you look at term deposits.
Do a search on a company like MFS and see what they are offering for a 12 months term. They currently have 9% displayed on their website.
I recommend that you do a fair bit of research first.
