dominant in the contest, extremely good in traffic and manages to hold his disposal for the perfect amount of time in tight before releasing
but he didn't dominate the game even though he was bog for us in the half he played, building well

His ball use was about 4 classes above everyone else, swear if I hadn’t seen him kick it, I’d have thought there was something wrong with the ball given everyone else either scrubbed it or kicked weird spinning floaters. Abysmal skills.
Physically destroyed a few academy players too, just way too big for them. Basically was never rushed inside the contest because he knew he could ride tackles and handball out. Hopefully we see it against vfl opposition next week.

I really want to see him in the AFL but I just think one full game under his belt at VFL level might need to be the pre-requisite, as impatient as I am.
The AFL is obviously a big step up, and given we probably don't want to be using him as a sub/being subbed in the big league, I think he needs to show he can play a full game first before stepping up to AFL.

TBH I can’t see much difference between 1 week off and 2 weeks off for returning from a hip replacement.
