Even now when he has every right to be devastated that he won’t be back this year his first thought is the team.

Don’t know why so many people automatically assume it’s a setback. Set an unrealistic expectation, and fell short.
Was madness to even contemplate coming back from an ACL that quickly. Like the North supporter had been posting repeatedly, no matter how much of a superhuman athlete you are, you cannot control strength of the graft.
Fair enough, set a high goal for motivation, but the media fanfare, and fanfare on this board was insane. Was never realistic.

If the boxes were ticked he was good to go, obviouly his surgeon didn't, so its great he's listened to his body and the professionals and will now concentrate on next year.

the surgeon is a colonwood supporter and doesnt want us to win the flag
good decision..He was NEVER going to play. you just don't risk players like Rance. It was only a few months ago he did it. Some people have gone very quiet here and probably still claim there is no risk.
