Waiting, no official release date.

So far 1st game official.

Bears vs Packers 06/09/19 10:20am (Melbourne time)

Bears -3.5 favourites

Anyone with an official full schedule release date? I've only read predictions, for a schedule release date of all things. from 8th-10th of April or 17th-20th of April.

There's never been a fixed date for the release of the schedule, but iirc its usually about a week or two before the draft (which would be where the guess of the 17th-20th of April would come from)

Never knew that, thanks for the information you just provided.

Have heard from a few people it'll be April 18th USA time, but no official word anywhere yet. Usually 2-3 days prior to the actual release it gets announced publicly when the release date is. Should be next week given that it always happens at least one week prior to the draft.

NFL name their season by the start year. They don't include the end year.

Should the NFL release the schedule after the draft?
Posted by Mike Florio on April 13, 2019, 10:50 AM EDT

The schedule is coming.
Yes, this is the week (probably on Tuesday night) during which the league will rip the sheet from the slate of 256 regular-season games to be played in 2019. We know who will play whom and where those games will be played, but the question of when those games will be played takes on great significance, especially when it comes to figuring out which games will land in the highest-profile TV slots of each and every week of the campaign.
Currently, the league waits until mid-to-late April to finalize the schedule, allowing the dust to fully settle on free agency before deciding the all-important “when.” But one significant offseason player-acquisition event remains undecided when the schedule is determined: The draft.
For that reason, at least one owner (and possibly more) would like to see the schedule release delayed until after it’s known where the top rookies will be playing.
It actually makes sense. This year, quarterback Kyler Murray stands out as the biggest potential drawing card from a September-December TV standpoint. With Arizona’s plans for the first overall pick still unknown (and the NFL likes it that way, from a late-April TV standpoint), a decision to drop 49ers-Cardinals into the second half of the traditional Week One Monday night doubleheader risks that the game won’t be as compelling as it could be, because it may not entail the official debut of the most fascinating prospect of 2019.
If the league were to wait until after the draft, it would know who has Murray, along with whether any other team’s picks, trades, etc. make a given game more or less compelling. What if Jack Del Rio’s hunch as to Russell Wilson is right, and he gets traded? What if some other trade that would shake up the landscape of the league happens?
On the other side of the coin, what’s the benefit of knowing the schedule before the draft? Are team really picking incoming players based on whether they’ll be facing Patrick Mahomes in Week One or in Week 14?
If the ultimate goal is to have the most compelling regular-season schedule possible, the league should wait until after the draft. And then the league would have one last made-for-TV offseason tentpole that would frame the final countdown for the coming on the new season.

To be released at 10am Australian EST on Thursday (if I've got my time conversion right)

Get ready to circle some dates on your calendar.

The NFL will announce the official 2019 schedule tomorrow, Wednesday, April 17, at 8 p.m. ET live on NFL Network, Good Morning Football announced Tuesday.

The announcement of the 256-game slate, played over 17 weeks starting on Sept. 5, comes just over a week before the NFL Draft kicks off on April 25 in Nashville.

The NFL previously announced the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears would kick off the 2019 season, with one of the NFL's most storied rivalries commemorating the league's 100th anniversary.

The NFL revealed the preseason schedule last week.

In addition to all games for all 32 teams being revealed and broken down on NFL Network, NFL.com will provide full, extensive coverage of the schedule release on Wednesday night. Grab some popcorn, dial into your TV, and log on to your phones tomorrow night.

Had a dream last night that the Titans play the Saints on MNF week 4. In Tennessee. And the Titans win
my dream last night, wad being investigated by the tax dept. :(
but then it devolved into me having sex with the two female tax officers :)

You should never have to play a division rival twice in 3 weeks as we do the Titans in week 15 & 17. That’s just sheer laziness or incompetence on NFL’s behalf.

We played the Saints in those weeks last season IIRC

Damn the Patriots schedule is easy. Look at the first half of the season. Did any of those teams finish above 500 last season?

Pats schedule looks easy every year being in a division of incompetent franchises. The rest of the teams are rebuilding every 4 or 5 years.

they will still have to play their starters till the end of the season
Thats the point. The NFL don't want teams resting starters because it means less interest/ticket sales.

Pretty sure they've stated in the past that they try to have at least the last two weeks be division match ups
