I believe this was the last time we beat collingwood, carlton and essendon twice in the same season. Also the first time we've played in the finals without one of carlton, collingwood or essendon participating. Geez life's good at the moment!!!

Well, we were unbeaten by Collingwood, Essendon and Carlton in 2006. The only thing is, we played both Essendon and Carlton twice, but Collingwood only once.

The stat actually seems pretty impressive. Also, as someone mentioned we probably haven't played them all twice in a season all that much recently. And when we did, with less teams it would be hard to make the finals without one of the other three.
