assuming everyone is at their primes:

1996:
C - Ben Wallace
PF - Jermaine O'Neal
SF - Peja Stojokovich
SG - Kobe Bryant
PG - Steve Nash
Allen Iverson
Marcus Camby
Ray Allen
Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Antoine Walker
Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Derek Fisher

2003:
C - Chris Kaman
PF - Chris Bosh
SF - Carmelo Anthony
SG - Lebron James
PG - Dwayne Wade
David West
Kirk Hinrich
TJ Ford
Boris Diaw
Travis Outlaw
Learndro Barbosa
Josh Howard

yeah 2003 will be better than 96 eventually.

'96 has the runs on the board.

First teams are pretty even at the moment. After that...

Iverson in his prime is much better than Hinrich's potential prime
Don't forget what Ray Allen has done in his career, not just this year.
West will probably have it one Camby by the time they've finished.
Who knows what Howard will become, but due to Iversen and Allen, I'd have to edge it to '96 as I can't see the '03 bench surpassing their feats.

'03 will eventually be better.

Can't believe how the Pistons stuffed up, yet still managed six consecutive Conference Finals and a Championship.

Even the last few picks at the end of the first round were awesome. Absolute quality.

96 has obviously been better so far but you would have to think 03 would overtake them.

I totally forgot about this MASSIVE stuff up by Detroit
