Has anybody tried this on their phones? Text 199BONGO your name and suburb, and it will reply with a bunch of information about you, some of which can be a tad creepy...

How does it work? Has anybody had bad/good experiences with it?

I actually find it freakish .. put my details in and it came back with details on my family and stuff .. There's no way you could track it through things like myspace either ...

Yeah...things like family/partners names, information on things that happen at work and the like...kinda weird. Would love to know what sort of database this kind of stuff is kept on and how BONGO accesses it!

Nar i think its through phone records, because i dont have a phone, and when my friend typed my name in the information was generic, there was nothing specific to me. i think it said

" He is a hit with the ladies, enjoys working hard and extending himself"
or something like that......

My friend ( who recently text-invited a group of people to a cello performance he was giving ) got a message about his cello playing....

They have a data base from messages and phone records i think.................
