Is it just me or does Andrew Walker turn the ball over a bit....He seems to do the hard stuff but makes a few disposal and decision making errors.....been pipped by trent sporn in fav player status

Walker is skinny and inexperienced, but geez he's exciting. The boy just oozes X-factor. Watch out for him in the second half of 05!

the thing is he isnt soft ... is a great tackler and his disposal will improve with time.

but yes he does turn the ball over a bit ... cost us almost 3 goals in the third qtr.

the bloke ive been most impressed with is davies ... his defensive pressure is fantastic ... he too needs to work on his disposal but he oozes the same x factor walker does imo

I think Davies has been fantastic in his last 4 or 5 games and he will only improve throughout season 2005, exciting times.

I thought in the first half, Walker's disposal was scintilating.

He just tries to run the game out like the elite and it costs him when he tires and kicks come up short.

When he becomes physically developed enough to keep his skills up for longer, look out

Walker isn't just going to fit into the team and be a superstar perfect.

Yes he does turn the ball over more than others in our team, but gee, his very inexperienced.

Each game he will be better.

the week before Cooney was turning the ball over for the doggies. These young guys are still adjusting to the increased tempo of senior football. In time he will improve. He is just use to having more time to dispose of the ball.

I think the most important issue to look at here is the fact that Walks is actually getting the ball. Much harder to teach someone to get and get it rather than improving their disposal. All he needs is a bit more fine tuning, and this will see his disposal improve.

His one handed "pluck" from the behind post and left foot snap for a goal against the doggies shows how much skill he has.

i aint complaining bout young 'tex' coz i reckon we got the best player outta that draft, but all im saying is that he has been replaceed By trent sporn as my new favourite player as he has been a bit outta sorts for the entire wizard cup. hopefully he can get back to first equal.

sporn has always been a good player - certainly much better than what most would give him credit for. Barring injury he should play 200 games for the club

its a highly coveted position and walker has held it since i saw him play vfl last year. and sporn has always played the type of football that makes me feel excitement in my loins. but recently sporn has just been knocking on the door and i cant just ignore his claims to the title.
