1st Pies NAB Cup game televised?

There are 2 games on the first Friday night (23 Feb).

Pies v Roos in Carrara and the Adelaide v Port Adelaide derby.

Which of these will be televised in Melbourne?

I suppose this will depend on the Foxtel deal.

Barring a deal with Foxtel between now and then, they will show the Collingwood game in Melbourne.

From memory it was only 9 and 10 that showed the NAB Cup, that I know of.

I hope footy comes to foxtel, just because there is nothing else worth watching on it, but for the people without foxtel I don't wish it goes back, thats just unfair no one should have to pay to see a football match.

Really? I could have sworn that the Magpies vs Fremantle game in the nab/wizrd cup was on foxtel last year. I only remember this because i had to drive to a pub where they had it on.

I didn't say your posts were bad at all, Don't put words in my mouth, I just said that you post for quantity rather than quality, I was just saying that I want foxtel to get football just because I have it, but it would be bad for the people who don't have, so that is one reason I don't want it because it is unfair for people to have to pay to watch football.

Now that you mention it both Collingwood games were on Foxtel last year, I don't have Foxtel so it was an easy mistake to make.

No wonder I couldn't remember watching the Pies Saints match. Perth had the Dockers Eagles match on. Went to the Shockers Pies match so that didn;t affect me

I was at the Hilltop Hoods gig last year when we played Port in Rd 20.

It kinda sucked, but we just avoided the score until we got home and watched it as if it was live - It's just as good.
