Although I agree that it's ridiculous to be overconfident about finals at any stage, let alone this early, opposition supporters will hurl abuse no matter what.

I was going to start a thread but this looks a good enough spot

Goalsetting...how important is the next 6 games in the overall scheme? Is it important to keep winning and try and achieve a 20-2 season or should we look further and play our best 22 into fitness, even if it is at the expense of a few losses and finish 18-4

The only issue I have with goalsetting is that once you reach the top of the mountain ie 20-2 .. you have to reset the goals. I have no fear Neil Craig will do so...just interested in others thoughts.

Regarding goalsetting ... set a goal to win against West Coast this coming round.

Such a win would change the topic of this thread to "3 games Clear ...".

My mistake. I had us as being on top Rounds 1-4 1996, when it was just Round 4 1996.
