that's actually argueable
yes you would get something worse than any other normal year
but you get something considerably better than what you get for being a few positions higher THIS YEAR
16th gets pick 3
15th gets pick 7
14th gets pick 11
and then it goes in order or so
so yes, 16th in 2010/2011 is worse than other years
BUT you have a larger advantage in draft position to the other clubs in your vecinity IN those years

ps. I think we're aiming for 14th to keep our normal draft pick of around 10

I am not so concerned about draft picks, there are some talented players on our list that just need to be nurtured and developed over the next couple of years. If it takes the club to bottom out for Craig to actually realise that it is time for the biggest transition since he has been coach and to begin to invest into 2012-2013 then so be it.
