"Surgery went smoothly"
In a sling for two weeks, then starts the rehab program
Key forward Peter Wright has undergone successful surgery on his right shoulder.

The reigning Crichton medallist had the procedure to repair damage from a shoulder dislocation and will have his arm immobilised before commencing a rehabilitation program.

“Pete had shoulder surgery on Monday and all went well,” McPherson said.

“He’ll be in a sling for the next two weeks, and then we’ll be able to commence his rehab program after that.”

Still 12 weeks away
