sorry about the last thread. this is my first time using these forums. any1 same question.
which of these players from the top 5 of 2003 has become the best and if u could pick 1 of them now which 1 would u pick

Brock Mclean. Best player of the 2003 draft with Cooney right behind him.

I honestly cant believe that this is being talked about.

Cooney was the no,1 player fromn that draft. No doubt!

Cooney dominated last year. Polling well in the brownlow as well as finishing top 10 in our best and fairest.

Cooney was a big tip for the brownlow this year before the season. he hasnt performed but just shows that he is already considered part of that class.

Mclean is a great player but has just started being consistent this year whilst cooney was an elite midfielder last season and was heavily tagged in his second season.

Brock Mclean IMO is the stand out player from the 2003 draft.

Loves the tough stuff.............A real ball magnet

Cooney is a very good player, but not quite as good

Mcleans an absolute star, as is Cooney but Mclean would be up there in Melbournes best and fairest and cooney hasnt had a great season.

Yes, and polled 3 extra votes. This is despite getting tagged regularly in only his second season of AFL.

McLean deserves praise but isn't a heavily tagged as Cooney.

Until they both play under the same duress you have to rate Cooney higher.
