Traded pick 57 for Patrick Bowden

National Draft
8 - JON
24 - Hughes
40 - Casserly

PSD - White

Rookie Draft
Graham
Humm
Howat

Out of this draft matty white is the only decent player we seemed to have picked up and even then hes borderline 22. Bowden, Casserly, Humm and Howat have been delisted and Gus and JON dont look like they will make it. Hughes is also unlikely but i still hope that he can turn things around. Dont mean to be negative especially considering how bad this week has been but this is a really bad draft for us. Interested in other peoples thoughts

2005 draft means nothing because that would have to be close to the worst draft in modern times.

2001 draft was were the rot set in...missing out on a pool of good players at least 2 times as deep as in 2005 really cost us.

And some clown was saying we don't draft bad......

Hmmm, yup taking only 3 kids in one draft, especially in a weak draft means the chances of not finding enough players is quite high. I think we could have found a player in Casserly if his hamstrings could have held up. We are crying out for a player like him.

i agree.
cass was terribly unlucky..
possessed beautiful skills and a good brain..
dissapointed :(
