Also Rutten, Mattner, Trent, McLeod, Roo, Edwards, Goodwin.... (really I cant wait to see everyone in action again)

IMO he will win a Rising Star nom next year.

Throw Van Berlo in for good measure as well. Should become a regular and he might just crack a Rising Star nom as well.

its much more likely that a high pick from this yrs draft will win it. I hope knights is doing alot of kicking skills over the break too. Jericho needs to do some skills work too, if they lift them we might get some pretty decent players there.

I am looking forward to many things on the playing field next year. Off it though I am looking forward to the Crows battle to ensure Bryce Gibbs finds himself in crows colours the following year under the f/s rule.

knights certainly has some ability. let's hope he doesn't get home sick too ;)

any chance of mcleod returning to the midfield on a regular basis? or a hff?

HFF would be more likely.

Neil Craig & co are well aware that Roo, Goody & co are only a few years off retirement. That means they're going to be fast tracking our younger midfielders into the centre, rather than a 29/30 year old McLeod. No doubt he's still capable of the magic, but they need to be planning for the future.

thats a good point, hopefully those rumors about him being home sick were just that. Looks unlikely that he'll get any games in 06 so that wont help if its true. Only positive is that he was from vic country so moving to melbourne wont help. Hopefully it was way out in the country too so he doesnt get any ideas of returning to melbourne either.

how's this for someone to UNVEIL admittedly not until the end of 2006 but a certain powerful forward from the fremantle dockers will not be renewing his contract is seeking to return home and he is not interested in the warfie club

Firstly welcome SH but the only forward come roving centre, CHB worth his weight in cocky shyte is tied up until hell freezes over.

Other than him there again is no such thing of a Freo powerful forward. ;)

Matthew Pavlich's contract expires at the end of this year and i know for a fact that he will be looking to come to west lakes

hello welcome to the board, so who is your source for this, matthew himself? or a friend of a friend? There was a similar thread swearing that he was coming home in the last trade period, i'm not sure what happened.

It would be somewhat ironical if its true, when we get a key forward once macca's and roo's careers would be finishing. If we had got him last time he asked to come home we'd have 1-2 flags by now. Freo got that bit right atleast. Close to the most incompetent decison by the afc recruiting department. Lets hope he gives them another chance. He is the closest thing to carey atm imo, just lacks a little aggression.

Are you aware of the deal between ricciuto, goodwin in a hotel?

PS I don't think we would have won any more priemierships with gazza ayres as coach
