Its time for a new proper trading a draft game to start, the way we know it:thumbsu: here are the rules...

1) You take control of a full teams list.
2) Each team must trade among other clubs. Inactivity for extended periods of time will lead to a change in coach. You can trade players and draft picks.
3) Trading closes on Sunday the 7th at 11.00pm AEST so noone loses interest. The draft will be conducted on
Thursday the 11th at 8.30pm AEST.
4) Following the draft, each team will be able to delist players. No squad is allowed to have more that 40 in it.
5) At the end everyone posts their final lists and best 22's. We vote on the best team in different categories which will be decided later.

-Trading will start immediately
-Please only join if you are a regular user and you wont loose interest.
-I will create a thread for team lists when we start trading. Please post your best 22, reserves, draft picks and completed trades there. Keep your list updated after all trades. And dont post anything else in that thread to keep it neat and so it can be easily used for reference.

ALSO the lists will be the 2007 lists, however players on the lists that have retired or have been de-listed are not to be a part of the game.

Judd chooses Carlton

Chris Judd has been asked to be traded to Carlton following his departure from the WCE. Josh Kennedy has been thrown around along with pick 3 and 20 but West Coast officials dont rate or want Kennedy despite him being young and from Western Australia. The Eagles want ATLEAST two picks and a player (Not Kennedy) and will now wait on a new offer from Carlton for Judd's services.

Post your offer in here ;) Not by PM.

Eagles turn down latest offer.

West Coast today turned down Carltons latest offer of Picks 3, 20 and Bower and have demanded Carlton give up pick 1 aswell or one of Fevola, Waite, Fisher as WCE spokesman peterss had this to say "Carlton need to know that we will be playing hard to get as Judd is the premier player in the competition and has many many years ahead of him and if Carlton think that he is not worth pick 1 then they need to think again as the way Judd has been playing since his debut it has been better then most of the #1 draft picks we have seen in the past...We look forward to Carltons response"

Reply like its a press release blues...Makes it fun ;)

Saints on the lookout

Saint Kilda are on the lookout during this trade period to add players to once again challaenge for the AFL premiership. With the retirement of Matthew Clarke, the injuury concerns of Micheal Gardiner and the need for Justin Koschitzke to play forward has the saints looking again towards picking up a ruckemen.

Also talk out of the saints camp has them chasing some legspeed through the middle, another goalkicking option and some defenders to help out down back.

"Carlton today have informed West Coast that Pick 1 will not be traded under any circumstance, and Fevola is a required player at the Blues. Carlton's latest offer to West Coast is Picks 3 20 lance whittnal and paul bower. Carlton truely believes that no club can offer such outstanding picks and quality players than any other club. Carlton will not sell the farm to get Judd. They egarly await a response from over in the West..."

ps: ill be gone for about an hour after 8, should be back after 9:thumbsu:

Give us Waite of Fisher says Eagles

The Eagles have responded to Carltons latest offer of picks 3, 20, Whitnall and Bower and have said that they are not interested in Whitnall at all and have demanded that seeing pick 1 seems to be definately off the radar that they offer the Eagles Picks 3 and 20 along with Paul Bower and one of Waite or Fisher.

Eagles say "Getting there"

The Eagles have said that Carltons latest offer of picks 3, 20 and Jarred Waite is the best they have offered so far but they want WA youngster Paul Bower included to clinch the deal. The spokesman for the Eagles Mr Peterss said "With pick 3 we can pick up one of the local lads from the U18 championship winning team and with Waite it gives us a player who can play forward or back. We are still interested in Paul Bower as we always wanted a WA player included in the deal for Judd. We will await a response from Carlton"

MELBOURNE WILLING TO BECOME APART OF JUDD DEAL

"with the obvious struggle to secure the services of judd it is becoming increasingly evident that a third party will be required. With high draft picks that could provide the lynchpin in the final deal, Melbourne officials have declared the intent to become involved."

Proposed trade:
Pick 4 for Waite

Eagles offer Hansen to the Saints

The West Coast Eagles have approached the St Kilda Football Club today about the possibility of Ashley Hansen playing for the Saints next season. Club spokesman peterss said this "We rate Hansen highly and he is a great goalkicking forward and a quality leading CHF but with Waite possibly coming into the Eagles side he may be excess stock and with the Saints expressing interest in a goalkicking option during trade week we will wait and see if they are interested and let them make the first offer."

In other news wayward small forward Ashley Sampi has been put up for trade if any club is interested in him.
