Wow. Apart from Murphy,Carazzo, Stevens, Judd and Fevola, you still have a really crap side!!!
12 players in that side would not get a game in a top 10 side. And Simpson and Gibbs would be half year, developing players.
You still need another couple of priority picks until Carlton is a powerhouse again.

Recent history has shown that 17 year old ruckman take at least 2 years before they start making any impact whatsoever.
 
Prediction can finish anywhere from 6th to11th, can't afford injuries..
Remember this, we won 4 games in 2007 and we tanked the last 6 games , YES WE TANKED, we could have won at least another 2 or 3 games if we didn't .We had Essendon and Collingwood beaten till we eased up
Our Weakness the backline and it will continue for a while

Walker (21)Question with this guy why can't he play on the talls and do a similar job Campbell Brown did this year with the Hawks . Walker is taller than Brown and quicker
Jamison(21) being groomed for Full Back
Anderson(19)being groomed to pick up the small fowards
HALF BACK LINE

O'hilpin(25)Hard to know where his position is at the moment but i think CHB suits him , less pressure than Full back , except i wouldn't play him on players like Pavlich or Riewoldt
Thornton (24)Struggles in Key positions roles at times but good back up for Jamo if he's struggling at FB

Judd(24)Gun and then some

Hampson(20) & Kruzener(18) Play these guys off the bench during the year , they haven't got the bodies to play the whole year and play first Ruck. Rotate these 2 players in the side through the year and come 2009 and beyond we will have some gun ruckmen
Bower(20)Back up back men
Hadley(25)2008 will better for him , takes a 12 month period of playing to get over a knee reco and that was 2007, rotate him through the midfield
Grigg(19) or Russell(21)prefer them to Bentick and Blackwell , grigg and Russell have more upside to them & more pace

Summary
Cloke , gone after 2008 , i like Hampson and if we pick Kruzener , we have no need for him
Bentick and Blackwell and jackson all 3 in trouble with Hadley and Judd in side will be struggling to get a game
Whitnall GONE but the trading of Kennedy might delay his delisting by a year but i would do it now , to slow and pathetic this year , given the captaincy and didn't get fit , GOODBYE

ODN - is this just because Kreuzer has a light frame and would get battered?Is it to get some confidence in the seconds?

:thumbsu: This is more like it. I don't know why people keep overlooking Aisake in the Ruck. He is probably ahead of the Hampster at this stage. Plus he has a big body, is a great athlete and has a nice bit of mongrel in him. I think he will play a big part in the preseason comp and is a very big chance to be our No. 1 ruckman before the season is out.:thumbsu:

Will be very close IMO.
Will get pushed down the order a little with Judd coming in, and Stevens coming back from injury. Getting Hadley might also make it hard for him as well. Our midfield is really starting to look very scary now.

He was a fairly old recruit. He just turned 21. So he's around 3-4 years older than Kruezer.

Which once again makes my case for me. Takes around 2-3 years at least for a young ruckman to start making an impact.
