I can barely choose one...

I guess for consistency for the season I'll have to go with Murph.
Gibbs however has given us a very nice taste of what he's becoming now :thumbsu:

Murphy's kicking has been alot better the last couple of games, I mean who can complain with 36 possessions @ 80% efficiency in the last game? He was also instrumental in the win against Brisbane.

His awareness needs to improve obviously, but his evading skills once he is actually aware are pretty good. Seen him duck out of some tackles which gave me a fright thinking he'd be caught. The last game where he ducked from under Buddy at the last second in defence is a good example.

He's also surprised me lately how quick he can be. Has he added an extra step of pace to his game perhaps? Nevertheless, I agree as he strengthens up and continues to increase his awareness he will be very hard to stop.

HUGE fan of both boys obviously though :)

Murph *has* looked very quick at times this year, I've been impressed.

He could be our very own Boomer Harvey, if he keeps running super hard, covering the entire ground and kicking goals.
Hopefully the 2 X premiership player part yes...

Hopefully not dropping like a sack of spuds part though...:thumbsu:

I think its like judd playing with kerr and cousins . Judd made those two look like they had a lesser game week in week out (even if it wasnt the case) because of his X factor.. So i think that the Gibbs/Murphy comparison is the same , Gibbs has the X , murph has the workman like game that can go un-credited ... I reckon murph will finish 1st-3rd in the BF and gibbsy 5th to 8th ....

What Gibbs has achieved this year considering his age shows that he is going to be an elite player. A year behind Selwood and he's taking his role superbly. Murph has probably had the more consistent year but as said Gibbs's second half was awesome. Next year has to be the year that Murphy is bracketed in the elite and Gibbs takes his step to the elite.

Of course I too am impressed with both but think for a little guy like Murph to keep up with Gibbsy or survive long-term he has to body up like Bryce has begun too - he has to be a ball of muscle like Cousins, Kerr, Harvey, Harvey (at this stage he is still too close to the Stevo body mould)
