You guys have a developing list that will be good but you will need to be patient. People are saying you were tanking and had the worst list in the competition this year but it takes time to develop all those high draft picks into a team of players capable of winning regularly enough to make the finals.

You have a new coach and I can only imagine the optimism getting Judd to your team would bring but imagine if he wasnt playing and you had a new coach were would you realistically place yourselves 13th 14th is he really going to be the difference enough to win 5 games for you. Judd is a bonus but long term development of your kids is whats going to bring success

I believe that we were tanking last year . I think that ratten could have won @ least 3 of the games he coached if he had wanted to, that would have been 7 wins for the year.

I don't think that it is unrealistic @ all to expect us to make the finals if all goes well, I tipped 7th!

I just cant see that much improvement you guys were good in patches last year but just didnt have the consistency that comes with experienced players. Tanking or not tanking the players surely would have been trying to win once on the park. The tankings done at the selection panel not by the players or the coach on match day.

i agree with you mate, its the likes of stevens, hadley, fevola, murphy, wait, scotland, carlos, walker, fisher, bentick, houlihan, simmo, sneaky betts, all wanting success for a while now, their apprentiship is long overdue now, its time for the big stuff, if we are true blue bloods we can certaintly smell success coming around the corner. take 1992 for example when DIESEL Williams came accross from the swans ( What a gun, he was 4 us!!! )
all critics were making the same remarks about diesel as what they are making right now about judd. they say "one player is not going to RISE you to the top of the ladder". i hope we can prove them wrong, cos diesel williams did when he successfully made a contribution to the famous 95 premiership flag alongside past champion players.

Thanks for the complement calling me wise I appreciate that I especially appreciate how you took the time to tell me twice.

However wanting success and getting it can be poles apart. Dont get me wrong Im glad Carlton is starting to turn the corner the whole tanking thing has carried on for to long and the problems with money, instability carrying players that should have been released years before etc etc all seem to be behind you but it takes time to drag your self up with the most competitive sides in the comp, its took Geelong 7 years to rebuild there side to the awesome side we saw demolish Port in the Grandfinal.
