All 52,000 members should file into telstra dome and every player, coach, admin staff should be present.

Ever player should then apologise to the members for the crap season they have contributed too and explain to us how they will indivudally and collectively improve to neverever embarass the club again.

They will then apologise for letting us the supporters down, who cough up $500+ (Kennedy CLub) to support OUR club only to allow such a poor showing in season 2009.

I think its fair.

Hear, hear.

Will be interesting to see if the coaches/players/board attempts to give the members some legitimate reasons for this year's debacle, or will it just be more of the same excuses?

Injuries are one thing, but some of the teams' performances particularly earlier in the season (vs Brisbane, West Coast, Bulldogs) were truly insipid and below what we expect at Hawthorn.

More the point what are their plans to turn things around in 2010 going to consist of? (I want to see some changes in coaching staff for starters)

I wouldn't expect to hear anything from our coach. He holds supporters in the utmost contempt if the information he gives us is anything.

Have a look at his regular two paragraph contributions to Hawk Talk or the cliched ridden garbage he gives at the AGM.

You shoud apologise to us for taking up so much bandwith to express such puerile and nonsensical views.

And, I think its fair that all pissweak "supporters" should GTFO.

You know for such a maligned member of BF, you are surprisingy oftne on the money Yarden. Couldn't agree more: in terms of effort, skill and results, Sewell has been night on perfect, injuries notwithstanding.

Im not accepting anything less than the presidents resignation

(post your back pedalling here)

I don't know what your problem with Jeff is,but JK has been a magnificent leader of our great club.

But your probably one from the left.

I don't think many BF posters will become non-members. Are very passionate people about the HFC.

The ones we will lose which will be 5-7k probababy are pittiful fans. Although, needed.

This has been the most frustrating year I have have had following us- Lucky we took our chance last year.

The worst thing about the season is the likely situation of TC never playing again. So happy he is a premiership player.

Only 2004? I was there through the sixties. This reminds me of that. The coming of young superstars (Hudson, Matthews, Knights, Crimmins), a premiership in 71, a couple of flat years then a period of sustained success. Here's hoping.

Yes lets get the 6 to 8 premiership players who have been injured most of the season up onto the stage so they can apologise for getting injured, it was very irresponsible of them, oh and hey lets add Franklin and Hodge totally selfish of them to get injured and have surgery just before the season started.

While we are at it, if we hadnt won the flag last year, we would have been much better placed this season, so everyone involved in last year's victory should aplogise too, their irresponsibility has cost us this season.

Bad thread!!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Haha. I'm 32 so have memories from about 83 onwards and the "dark times" have been pretty few and far between in my lifetime (ie couple of shit years in the 90s, 2000s). So people should reconsider before making such grandoise statements - people of my age barely know what "dark times" (on field football wise) really are (see Richmond, St Kilda etc). Bit too much back slapping in this thread.

I was born in '67. Supported Hawthorn since 1976/77. Could really only afford to purchase membership from 2004. Can't say I've seen too many really bad years as a Hawk supporter/member. 2004 was one such year though.
