as it is pretty much out of you 2 above and cooney i have herd, i would like to know what the voting system is to make it a fair assessment.

Do they take the current votes into prospective?, posts, or is there really a board of selectors who choose the players?

Board of selectors (I don't know who it consists of)
Vote 5,4,3,2,1 on the players who are in their 1st year (no nominations if you are 1st year you are eligible) and player with highest tally of votes wins EKA.

CE41 is pretty close. Its a 5-4-3-2-1 system with about 7 members, of which positions are not finalised. Definitely myself and Rick will be on the selection committee with the others to come from your Ljp, EBIAC, Biggie types. Croweater41 will be invited to be part of it also being the reigning EKA Medalist.

Should also be noted that the players eligible must have made their debut this season, and votes will only be awarded to nominated players which will be put forward by respective captains.
