2009 Calendar

Got the 2009 calendar the other day and low-and-behold, who is one of the players featured?

None other than our former crazy-haired full back, Nathan Carroll.

Now, I'm not sure if the club could have delayed printing the calendars until after we had finalised our lists, but it does look bloody silly seeing Chopper in there amongst Brock, Junior, Robbo etc.

Wouldn't it be great to see Watts and Wona both in there rather than a bloke who (allagedly) likes belting his teammates, racially in****ing staff-members and giving away bags of goals.

Jeff White was also in there too, which is not as bad, but surely our 2009 calendar should be about the future, not the past!

I guess Chopper was selected for the month of April, maybe it's some kind of cruel joke.....

Yeah those calanders were printed ages ago mate, i was with an Essendon supporting mate on Puckle St a few months back and we saw them, i was pretty suprised that White and Carroll were on there but IIRC Essendon's one also had Ramanauskas and a few other retired/ delisted players.

Obviously it's not the club who prints these off.

I thought that would be the case W=L, and it's probably something that would be difficult to change, but it would be SO much better if the Calendars had a few younger stars in there instead of Chopper. White I can handle but still looks strange in there.
