The forward has signed a four year contract with the club and says he is comfortable being back in the group despite what he called an "interesting" trade week.

Can we put this one to bed yet or would the conspiracy theorists need to actually see the signed contract?

Obviously nothing to boast about, so no! Anybody with half a brain, can see that ROK was exploring all options to get to PP. Even Paul Roos said today that they were open to a deal, but we had committed pick 24 to Warnock. We were clearly trying to do a deal.

You claimed that after he stated he was going back to the Swans he would delay re-signing, nominate for the PSD at the last minute for us to pick him up.

After yesterdays National Draft with the great kids that we have picked up, this is how our potential list is shaping up.


Primary List:
Andrew Walker, Jordan Russell, Marc Murphy, Bryce Gibbs, Chris Judd, Kade Simpson, Adam Bentick, Matthew Kreuzer, Richard Hadley, Bradley Fisher, Steven Browne, Shaun Grigg, Setanta OhAilpin, Paul Bower, Eddie Betts, Mark Austin, Shaun Hampson, Adam Hartlett, Nick Stevens, Brendan Fevola, Joey Anderson, Dennis Armfield, Cameron Cloke, Heath Scotland, Jarrad Waite, Jordan Bannister, Bret Thornton, Ryan Houlihan, Simon Wiggins, Jake Edwards, Michael Jamieson, Andrew Carrazzo, Robbie Warnock, Chris Yarran, Mitch Robinson, Rhys O'Keeffe & Caleb Tiller.

Total: 39.

It is almost certain that we would end up with a Primary List of 38 Players and 8 Rookies, of which at least one will be a Nominated Rookie. (Total 46).

Therefore, we now need 1 new Primary Listed Player and up to 6 new Rookies.


We have PSD Pick: 6.

We have Rookie Picks: 6, 22, 38, 54, 70 & 86 (probably take 5 or 6).


Summary: We have up to seven players coming in December who will join the boys at PP. Some of these might be 2008 Listed players or Rookies who will get another chance with us. This is the way it should pan out: 1 New Primary List Player & up to 6 New Rookies (38, 8, 46).

I will keep upgrading this thread as changes occur providing the situation as it stands and further options. I trust the above info makes sense to you all.

Righto Guys,

After today’s Pre-Season and Rookie Drafts we have now filled our list up to the maximum of 38 Senior Listed and 8 Rookie Listed Players. As predicted by all and sundry, Chris Johnson was our selection in the PSD. Whilst Darren Pfeiffer, Lachie Hill & Sam Jacobs were redrafted as Rookies; Jeffrey Garlett, Luke Stanton & Greg Bentley were also selected by us in the Rookie Draft.

New players for 2009 in Bold.
