Now that we know who we have picked up in the draft. do you think any of them will make our best 22 if so why and what is ur best 22

All 4 of them will for the National panasonic Cup. Especially round 1 at Subiaco

Vic Hislop will get a run in the back pocket
Simmonds will be lucky to get a game now we have Vickery
Posty will play CHF and Rewioldt will now join the midfield
and Thompson will get a run on the wing as Richo will not travel to Perth for a pissy pre season game against a crumby Freo side full of children.

Round one against Carlton only Hislop will get a run in the back pocket. He's our new small forward tagger. He will touch Medhurst up when we play against the pies. He's an animal. I heard he gave Scott Lucas a touch up at Essendon training 1950's put up your dukes style and that is one of the big reasons the Bombers wanted him out.

I also heard he's a great bloke to have a beer with so welcome to Richmond Tommy.

With him in the team there is absolutely no way we can lose. I cant believe we got him so late in the draft. I hear he has many twins who have gone to several other clubs as well..

If we only we could play all of Tuck, Thomson, Jackson, Hislop, Connors and King against the Blue Baggers It's great to have some serious 'hard nuts' as well as the class in our midfield now.

We will be a pleasure to watch over the next 5 or so years I reckon.

In regards to round 1 and looking at who we've drafted I'd love to see this team run out.....

Just wondering why people continue to pencil in Will Thursfield as our FB? He was overtaken by McGuane in 2008 in the key posts, and was played predominately as a 3rd tall defender.

We won 8 of the last 11 so i would expect we go into rd 1 of the home and away season with a pretty similar side.

A lot would depend on how the preseason goes and if anyone stands out in the practise matches and preseason cup.

I'm more excited by the promise of a bit of depth and another tall in the forward line. Would love to see JR released to play a richo role. I think he'll be good up forward when he drifts in deep after playing as a lead up hf (like Okeefe) and catches the defense off guard.

Thomson/Hislop will probably be used as a replacement for Johnson. Richo and Bowden's retirement will also open up a place in the midfield/half back/half forward lines.

Nothing. He finished off the season well (for Coburg) and is ready for a big preseason.

IIRC he is out of contract after this season so it may well be his last chance to prove that he is back to his old self and can stay fit.

Rance would only get a round 1 gig if he has a good preseason.

IIRC thats what happened with Moore last season and look at the year he had. Lets hope Rance can follow in his footsteps.

TigerGlory, not a Kane Johnson fan? Surely he'd get a game round 1 before Thomson.

I would be pretty nervous if they play Vickery early, expecting him to ruck for even part of the game. He's 18!!!!

Must admit I've almost completely forgotten about Raines.
