wtf ur a carlton supporter go back to ur board u tossPiss off Dal. Trade him and montagna with our first 3 picks to the doggies for Farren Ray. Just the player we need to Roll the cats empire
PS. Re-draft sziller
I reckon they'll definitely keep Kosi for the height factor cos if Gardi retires the big men stocks will be low and even if he doesn't the experience factor may sway them. If we trade Dal NOW the question would be - what would we get for him? And the answer is - Probably a player of lesser quality as was pointed out above. You never trade away quality .... which is exactly what kosi and dal are - unfortunately most fans are too short sighted to realise this
Maybe we need to revise the role we want them to play. .
Allen, Jarryd 4 Games 20yr 8mth Still very young for a KPP. Stay, develop as a FF and hope he gets there.
Armitage, David 16 Games 20yr 3mth Untouchable – but will need to have an IMPACT in '09. Must start finding the ball, needs a big pre-season
Attard, Jayden (R) 25 Games 22yr 6mth Back from injury, will be an asset I the back pocket. Tough nut
Baker, Steven 154 Games 28yr 4mth Would think untouchable, no trade value and still has 2 yrs left if fit. Tough nut, which is what we’ve been missing
Ball, Luke 122 Games 24yr 3mth Untouchable
Birss, Shane 71 Games 25yr 6mth Can not get a game, but has value, depth player
Blake, Jason 136 Games 27yr 6mth Puts his best in every week. Handy type isn't going anywhere
Chivers, Glenn (R) 0 Games 19yr 5mth Young player, will need to get some games in '09
Clarke, Raphael 41 Games 22yr 11mth Starting to show positive signs, will stay
Clarke, Xavier 105 Games 24yr 11mth DANGER: Injury prone and inconsistent. Trade bait
Connors, Eljay 0 Games 18yr 8mth Injured through 2008, needs to push for games in '09
Dal Santo, Nick 144 Games 24yr 7mth DANGER: Trade bait. Does NOT work hard enough
Dempster, Sean 73 Games 24yr 8mth Will sit out 2009, untouchable regardless
Eddy, Robert (R) 13 Games 20yr 8mth Will stay, but needs to work on marking and impact in games.
Ferguson, Matthew 12 Games 23yr 11mth DANGER: Can't get consistent games, but has time. Possible bait
Fiora, Aaron 140 Games 27yr 5mth MASSIVE DANGER. MUST Be de-listed
Fisher, Leigh 55 Games 24yr 5mth DANGER: Still reasonably young, and has seen his position taken by Dempster. Might get a crack in 09 with no Sean/Mini
Fisher, Sam 96 Games 26yr 2mth Untouchable
Gardiner, Charlie 63 Games 25yr 6mth MASSIVE DANGER. MUST Be de-listed
Gardiner, Michael S. 138 Games 29yr 2mth Retirement potential. Maybe 1 year left in him, but doubtful
Geary, Jarryn 10 Games 20yr 2mth Young player with some good signs. Fell away late, will come good.
Gehrig, Fraser 260 Games 32yr 6mth Retired
Gilbert, Sam 39 Games 22yr 1mth Should stay. Very hard at it, young and must work on kicking
Goddard, Brendon 113 Games 23yr 4mth Untouchable
Gram, Jason 77 Games 24yr 4mth Untouchable
Gwilt, James 26 Games 22yr 1mth DANGER: goes up and down, needs to find solid position. Chance to stay, but will need to work on his thinking
Haretuku, Khan (R) 0 Games 18yr 11mth Keep rookie listed for another season, must keep improving though
Harvey, Robert (V) 383 AWESOME Games 37yr 1mth Retired![]()
![]()

Hudghton, Max (V) 227 Games 32yr May retire, but hopefully go on 1 more year and groom Goose
Jones, Clinton 26 Games 24yr 7mth Staying put. Works very very hard, just needs to improve kicking. Tough as nails
King, Steven 215 Games 29yr 10mth Prob stick around for another year while McEvoy develops
Koschitzke, Justin 119 Games 26yr DANGER: No doubting his ability, or effort, but it just never seems to go right. Trade bait
Maguire, Matthew 99 Games 24yr 3mth Untouchable
McEvoy, Ben 1 Game 19yr 2mth Untouchable
McQualter, Andrew (R) 32 Games 22yr 3mth Back on the rookie list. Given another chance, and after a few decent games, fell away. Tags himself out of the game

Milne, Stephen 165 Games 28yr 6mth Untouchable
Montagna, Leigh 98 Games 24yr 10mth Staying put. Not a trade option, has some bad games, but finds the ball, is fast and penetrating kick.

Van Rheenen, Luke (R) 0 Games 20yr 6mth De-list or PLAY IN 2009. If he stays, he needs to be given games.

- Kosi's been moved left, right and centre over his career. No wonder he looks confused alot of the time. QUOTE]
what a 25 year old cannot handle being moved to other positions?
what a load of crap
he is either injured. or does not want to play for stkilda.
he doesn't try

Great you have invented a generic footballer. Sorry he is Kosi he is not some computer game thing with standard attributes.
He has his own strengths and weaknesses like most humans.
Just because he is tall and 25 does not mean he can be an EXPERT at any position, and at AFL level we are talking experts.
By your logic we could have moved Milne to the midfield when he was 25, or Hudgeton could have been a ruckman when he was 25.
Here is my starting team for 2009.
B Gram Hudghton Gilbert
HB Blake Maguire Attard
C Dalsanto Hayes Montagna
HF Riewoldt S Fisher Schnieder
F Milne Gwilt X Clarke?
Following King, Baker, Ball
Bench Jones, Armitage, Kosi, R Clarke
Wanting to put in the team but I can't find a spot. - See who is underperforming.
X , Geary, Eddy, Steven
Try at some stage - McEvoy, Allen, Howard, Miles
Depth only - McQualter, Birss, Fiora , C Gardner ( if they are still at the club).
It's a tough decision.
Let's say Goose comes back. We play him at FF and we get 30 goals. A decent return. If this was to occur, we could trade Kosi.
Let's say Goose doesn't make it back. Milne struggles and only manages 30 goals for the year. We have traded Kosi. All of a sudden we're in a spot of bother down there.
I'd keep Dal. If all this criticism doesn't fire him up in the off season, then he is a massive disappointment.
Wouldn't stick Grammy in a back pocket brother.
