Just today bought the 2010 White clash jumper with the number 9 (Trengove represent) on the back for this season. Cost me $129 all up with postage, and the number added to it, but it's well worth it when supporting the team. Hopefully it arrives before next weeks game against the Roo's, will be attending the game live and would love to wear it out for the first time :D

This is actually the first time I've ordered a Guernsey with a number printed upon it, chose the white clash as I quite like it and already have a normal Melbourne Guernsey (even though the sponsers are slightly outdated as it's got Primus on it lol)

Anyway, has anyone else purchased any 2010 Guernseys this year? And if so, has anyone got numbers printed upon them? If yes, please share :)

Got the home jumper on the way with 13, decided to not upgrade my LG Yze jumper until his heir apparent would show himself, and I'm more than happy with Jordie.

haha, sweet dude. Pretty much adopted Trengove as my new fav player after the loss of Robbo (being my previous). Never had the number 24 on any of my Guernseys, but If I had of I definetly wouldn't have switched em lol. Even though I love Jurrah and all, Trengove is the man ;)

Was a little worried when I made the purchase tbh, I hope the number is done exactly as they do for the players (and not in some other cheap form or fashion lol). Always wanted a numbered Guernsey, can't wait till it arrives!

I went to buy a jumper a few weeks ago. but they didn't have any in my size
:(

and now i'm too poor to buy one

that's a damn shame Omit. We should have a fundraiser and get you some red and blue fashion.

I have a primus jumper ( but I'm okay with it :p) it's still numberless though because I can't choose a young player to follow. I may go tapscott but I'd prefer him to have played a game or two.

The list.
Bail
tapscott
mckenzie
Gawn
jizzberts ( stuipid Adelaide comentators, now I'm
saying it)
There is alot of other players ( grimes, Jamar even before this year, moloney to name a few) but I want to really have a young player who is maybe a little unique. Strauss and blease may jump down in number as I'm sure when they do infact play some footy, we will find them to be pretty good.

I wear an old LG woollen number with the big 32 on the back signed at the top by the great man. My young bloke wears his new jumper with 36 signed on the number.

Was this online or at the ground? Usually they have all sizes online

If I were to purchase one tonight, where would be the best place to go? I've noticed that the merch vans around the ground don't normally have much.

Following a young player is the only way to go, but yeah as you say they'll probs change numbers... esp Blease, Strauss and Gawn. Gysberts already has #5, Tapscott looks like staying with #35; hopefully Gawn will get #11 when it is vacated by PJ, aaaaaaand Blease and Strauss will presumably get whichever numbers are vacated at the end of the year... (3?), 7, 21, 23, 29.
Grimes ftw.

Jizzberts lolz.

Go round to the superstore on Brunton Ave. It's run by the club itself, complete with player number addition services and possibly injured players signing stuff if you're lucky. All the money from there goes to the club, whereas I've always thought those merch vans would take a cut since they're run by the MCG... dunno but.

I went to the Megastore a week before the family day so I could get it signed.

Bought myself the home jumper with number 16. :thumbsu: Was happy when they said they pressed the number for you right there on the spot. Great service. I haven't bought a jumper in years. Infact, last time I wore a Melbourne jumper to the footy was probably mid 90's where I wore Jimmy's number 11.

Anyway, now I proudly wear Grimes' number to matches, signed by him of course, on the number, with numerous other player's signature above it.

Trying to save up. For numbers, do you pay for each digit?

TBCH, I preferred the red clash top.

Pretty sure its $10 for a single digit and $15 for double digits.

Saw a bloke with the red clash jumper at the footy last night, with number 48, had to feel for him with the 48 obviously being for Jurrah last year and not Fitzpatrick. Very risky getting players with high numbers.
