Re: NFL 2010 - Week 7

A few bad calls. Not that it mattered in the long run, but Raiders forced a fumble that we scooped up for a TD, but the officials whistled it dead. We got the ball on challenge, but should have had the TD.

Re: NFL 2010 - Week 7

Lucky for you GeeCats07 (your ND opponent) bailed out on his beloved Raiders.. that was the clincher game. ;)

Can't catch a break in ND. I've been top 10ish in overall tipping for whole season but will be 1-6 in ND. Still, always happy to lose those confidence points if it means a Raiders win. Beaten two division rivals now, just have to beat KC and it's playoffs baby!
In all seriousness though, watch us lose to the Seahawks at home to keep the Jeckyll and Hyde football going.

Re: NFL 2010 - Week 7

Didn't the Jags beat Miami in the 1999 playoffs 62-7? Went on to lose the next week to the Titans.

True but I was talking about regular season games.

I've watched a few replays now i'm even more pissed that the Dolphins didn't get that fumble recovery. Stupid ruling. Two dolphins are the first to dive on the ball and a dolphins player walks away with it.

We needed a big play to make the stop, we got it, and it was taken away from us with a horrible call.

Extraordinary bad video review call I agree.. for one, the Head Linesman guessed the initial call because that's the only angle he got down the line with the Dolphins defender obstructing the 'dislodging of the ball' view then the ball found itself already accross the plane of the goal-line and ball flopped out. On the review birdseye angle, on first view, it was clearly short. Then the officials couldn't make out who recovered it.. which is another bizarre (read: Incompetent adjudicating) thing.. but what really staggers is if the Steelers were given the benefit of the doubt..it should've been a TD!! Ground can't cause a fumble and how they decided it was to be placed on the 1 is one for Goodell to explain to Dolphin fans. :D

Welcome to the calamity league where there is no accountability for botched play-calls and the three ring circus NFL administration keeps up with vague explainations..

On the flipside, I was seething with NUMEROUS (& OBVIOUS) Holding calls against the Steelers D that went unnoticed and the Steelers still had ALL time-outs even after the Dolphins tried to advance the ball on their last possession with over a minute remaining so NO, Dolphin fans can't think they were ripped off... they had a chance to move the ball into FG position but were not good enough. HOW many chances do they want... two turnovers in the first 4 minutes of the game for only a paltry 6 pts = think about that!!

Re: NFL 2010 - Week 7

The Packers will win the division, the Bears are obviously pretenders again

Just don't know how you can fix an O-Line this bad.
Usually by splashing big in the offseason in free agency, trades and drafting

Agree with this. Miami should have scored a TD on one of their first 2 possessions in the Red Zone after Steelers TOs. If they had, the stupid call at the end wouldn't have mattered

Despite all the concessions you think you are offering a call is a call. It was utter rubbish and a gift. Be grateful and feel lucky it was given and it's not even close to Xmas yet.

Hahahaha Newman!!

I gave him a rev up saying he was overated and he gets a pick in the opening minute!!

Was lucky though and fell into his lap off the fingertips of the Giants WR.

TD Boys!!!!!!!!!!
