im loading up on germany also best team up until this point of the tourney am going for the win inside the 90 minutes

Starting to get a touch nervy now, got Spain/Klose for winner/golden boot at $250 on Betfair pre-tourney.

Also took Klose at $50 for golden boot, so am hoping for a David Villa-less 2-2 draw & then penalty win for the Spaniards, with Klose bagging the other two.

Then hoping Klose signs off his WC career with a hat trick in the 3rd v 4th playoff ;)

Then I can at least lay Spain in the final :thumbsu:

I still have a few bets alive. I put $10 on the Spain/Villa double @ $17 which is looking alright.

Also Xavi for the Golden Ball which he is an outside chance atm. Hopefuly he can have a ripper semi final and final.

Good luck, but man I hate it when favourites get up.

Searching for value is always more fun IMHO :thumbsu:

Sportsbet have a market going on the next Australia manager...

$2.88 Paul Le Guen
$8 Johan Neeskens
$8 Phileppe Troussier
$9 Leo Beenhakker
$9 Ricki Herbert
$11 Philip Cocu
$11 Marco Van Basten
$12 Sven Goran Eriksson
$13 Ruud Gullit
$19 Jose Pekerman
$19 Frank Rijkaard
$21 Vitezslav Lavicka
$21 Ernie Merrick
$23 Graham Arnold
$23 Foppe De Haan
$26 Nevio Scala
$51 Raymond Domenech
$101 Guus Hiddink
$101 Terry Venables
$101 Mark Bosnich
$101 Robbie Slater
$1001 Gary Ablett

See the name at the bottom? Could be value. I mean, the scouse version ended up coaching the Liverpoo reserves not that long ago, and you could always argue that they didn't stipulate which Gary Ablett they meant. I guess you also get the value of Junior thrown in for free too :thumbsu::D

Netherlands in normal time looks like a good bet, Suarez a big out for Uruguay who would have struggled anyway

Forlan can win a game in the blink of an eye.

Got money on the Netherlands and Germany to win in normal time :thumbsu:

I'll be very happy if that multi pays off! The odds were $4.40ish.

Betting against spain???? What is the logic. May aswell give your money to charity.

Fucile massive loss on left wing for Uruguay. Leaves a hole for kuyt and co. to feed van persie. With numerous early chances he should score early. @ 4.5 get on to start the week off

Spain have been far from impressive, i think they will beat Germany but to say betting against Spain is bad is rediculous. They lost to the Swiss, and should've really been beaten against Paraguay. Besides David Villa they haven't shown much up front.

Okay people I'll be putting some exotics on tonight.

Tell me who you think will be the first goalscorer and what the final score will be in normal time.

Cheers:thumbsu:

FGS- M Klose & 2-0 Germany :)

^^

Yeah, I'd go first goal scorer Klose and 2-1 Germany.

Although, Muller out for Germany has me more nervous by the minute to bet on them. Also the fact Spain's team on paper is deadly and they're not in the best form at the moment but if they click they can win and win well. I guess all you can really go off is exposed form though.

need spain to overcome germany to win $882 for my multi from just before the group stages ended of Uruguay + Germany (KO in semis) + Mexico (KO in 2nd round)

will def bet on germany tonight to cover it.. i think spain will struggle to stop the germans aswell.

spain will win. trust me. i've lost my last 15 bets after winning about 40 in a row (going all in too)

and im on germany.

so jump on spain !

I got on Germany at $2.75 which was fantastic odds IMO. They are the form country and Klose is one of the best goalscorers in the cup so far.

$20 on Germany @ $2.75.

Spain 2-1, Sergio Ramos first goal. will be a cracker too in the 54th minute, Podolski will equalise in the 78th minute, and Xabi Alonso will net the winner in the 85th
