Pick 124 Scott Thompson (NM)

Need a Full back and he's the best one left... is underated and probably more famous for being in a Barry Hall head lock but get's the job done!

I had a couple in mind here, but feel I need to finally complete my spine, so I'm taking...

Pick 125 - Nathan Brown

Had an amazing 2 GFs last season, and really stamped himself on the competition.:thumbsu:

Easiest pick I've had so far.

Pick 127: Lachie Hansen

Once I picked Stants I planned on getting either Hansen or Grant as my 2nd KPF and Duffield or Morris as my 3rd tall in defence with the next 2 picks. Duffield was 1st to go so I took a punt with Morris in the hope that either Grant or Hansen would be left over (I never really wanted scumbag Anthony). I was probably leaning towards Hansen over Grant anyway so I'm very very happy he fell to me (and Grant's a better fit for Kristof too).

Lachie kicked 23 goals in 12 games up forward last year and they say he'll be staying there for 2011. I expect 40+ this year on an improving team. IMO he's a better player than even Travis Cloke. Put him at CHF for Collingscum and he'd kick 50-60.

Just quickly PMing Kris about rebel's pick.......

Argh! He was mine :mad::(.

I think when everything is done, I'll have the best forward line and backline, but by far the worst midfield :(

Bet it makes you feel worse when I was so casual about it too hey :p lol

Could easily have gone for one of about 10 other players.

Good pick - glad you took it as I'm done for the night, and too zonked to give much thought to a decent pick for rebel ...

Pick 129: Richard Tambling

This is pick has let me to a bit of a bolter who has found a new home. If Richard Tambling can have a good season with the Adelaide Crows, getting him at pick 129 will be a steal. However, if he doesn’t, next year may see this top 5 pick falls into the 250 category and never heard of again. His career is at a cross roads and can literally go either way.

Was hoping Bling would last until my next pick.

Pick #130: Trent Cotchin
He has had his first uninterrupted pre-season and is shining on the track so hopefully this year can be his true breakout year after battling injury throughout much of his career.

HAHAHAHA well, it was either Richard Tambling or Trent Cotchin with that pick for me.

As for the team name - that's tremendous.

Josh Kennedy

Doesn't really fill a need but he impressed me whenever I watched the Swans last year after I never thought all that much of him during his time at the Hawks. His finals especially were eye catching. Will be known as the best Josh Kennedy in the AFL by the end of the year I think.

Ben Reid

Probably where he should be at his stage of development, no better no worse. Will find out a lot more about him in the next few years.

Pick #135: Brad Sewell

A class player who should return to his pre-2010 form as he was playing injured for much of last year. A true tough nut and tackling machine who could also play as my tagger. My midfield is also now complete!

Pick 136 - David MacKay

This young crow started season 2010 in sensational form but this season half was slowed by injury. After overcoming a groin injury early in the 2010/11 preseason he should be prime for a very solid, if not outstanding 2011 season. All aboard the D Train.

Class player? I think he is a glorified hack, who prefers going for the man rather than the ball.

Arn't all Hawthorn players like that?

Sorry fellas, I crashed at 6pm laat night lol. Was absolutely ****ed.

I select Chris Tarrant.

I hate the bloke but he's the 5th best FB in the league by my count and he now has the easiest job in the competition, which means his low 'goals conceded' count could very well put him into AA contention. Glad to complete my spine with such a quality player at this latepoint. I'm on my phone so cann't really do much research on his injuries here. But I'm pretty sure I saw him training on the news the other day so hopefully he's fit and raring to go...
