bet u if one of our attacking mids were injuried beams will come in instead of sinclair

Unless hes injured which seeing as hes not on the emergencies i would say he was.

Would have preferred Goldy to fasolo. Goldy could have done the job on scarlett. We're gonna have to wait and see whether this is a masterstroke or a masterchoke.

I agree.

However, still prefer Fas to Beams right now, so can't complain too much.

i really doubt he is injured, i just think if there are going to be late changes, beams will come in instead of sinclair. only my view

Beams can't come in now unless we have a legitimate reason to remove one of our emergencies.
There's no chance Beams will play or even come into contention from here. I don't know whether he is actually injured or whether the match panel thought he reacted too badly to the dropping that he wasn't worth keeping on the fringe. Whatever it was, it's over for him now.

Hi all, I have two standing room tickets for grand final on the wing that would like to swap for two seated tickets anywhere. If interested can email me at l.sweet1@hotmail.com

Happy to pay extra if necessary
Cheers.

Can you please stop posting this in irrelevant threads. It's in the Ticket thread id anyone would like to swap with you they will email you. It's really annoying when trying to read the forum for news and opinion.

Feel bad for Beama. Not having been a finals performer, he will have to prove the detractors wrong next year. I was sure he could have made an impact in a wet game against Geelong. Hopefully Faz will take his chance though.

I feel bad for Goldsack, you'd think if anyone went down it would be him to replace them.

And very very nervous on how Fasolo is going to play.

why was he left on the ground for so long against hawks ?

I think Mick answered this after the last game....there were so many underdone players, many with niggling injuries; he was afraid of using the sub too early and then someone else coming completely undone. I imagine it was touch and go when to activate the sub for those reasons.

I am not! I think the kid has nerves of steel and puts his body on the line. I am more worried about Didak not being able to hold on to his tackles.
I agree. Lets face it. Didak doesnt like putting his head over the ball that much. Great outside player. So he will get exposed in the wet. And against cats. They know he is one of our weak links in contested footy. They are going to target him again.Hope goldy comes in for him. Also worried about Fasolo. Some of our big games he wasnt that good. But..........blair was an uknown quantity in grandfinals and did ok. I got bagged last year when I said if Davis plays against saints we wouldnt win. He was dropped and we won...........If its wet didak sorry has to go out for goldy. Carnt carry him when its going to be wet and contested all day.......

ive been saying that about didak for the last 6-7 weeks. Copped a nice mouthful from a few respected posters on here for it. I've stood by my opinion, if Didak isnt 100% confident in recovery from his injury, which it seems like isnt (laying a half hearted tackle which is easily shrugged off or electing to go a soft bump which knocks him around more then his opponent) the team CAN NOT carry him! Especially this week against the best opposition. You cant live off previous years and previous form because all that matters is current form. Just like last year everyone saying davis is the x factor and could possibly maybe turn it on. You dont play grand finals with maybes. You play with wills.
Even worse is people trying to defend Didaks form by saying he had 30 touches a few weeks in a row. They were useless touches with absolutely no damage.

I hope collingwood bring in Goldsack. He's capable of doing a negating job on scarlett. Good cover if any of the backs go down including tarrant and reid. Can shift into the midfield and provide run while shutting down an opponent. Brings much more to the table then Didak.

I love Didak, but you cant be getting named on reputation and on the off chance he might kick a few goals and have a blinder because realistically there is about a 1 in 10,000 chance of that happening based on current form.

He's only 21, I'm sure he will have plenty of time to rectify it. We all know what he is capable of and I'm sure he does too, that's all that really matters.

I believe Beams will be an awesome and consistant player in the next couple of years and will be in our best 22 even if he is a finals choker. If he stays with Collingwood he will have many more chances to play finals footy in the Collingwood Dynasty!
