Stoked that a bike race is finally using some of the best riding area in the state. Will ride down to Dromana to watch the carnage on Arthurs Seat for sure!

Grand Final is only a week before the Sun-Tour!

Cadel has been thrown a shit load of money to race. Not sure if he will accept it or want more but the figure is reasonable. He shouldnt do it for the money IMO.

On another note, as a Peninsula local, the distance of 132klms from Sorrento to Arthurs Seat seems a bit too much!

I was laughing at the break getting 10 mins on the peleton on the first stage. Bobringe looking good for the overall win. Big stage today. Is it broadcast on tv anywhere?

Awesome ride by Haas. Sat on Bobridge's wheel very nicely. SBS showed most of the stage.

I rode down there, awesome atmosphere! 2 guys in mankini's , Rapha set up a corner on the steepest switch back (12%) with a DJ pumping tunes just awesome.

Haas takes it out and Kittel (?) with the stage win. Haas looks like a very good rider. Was always about 10 from the front and composed. Decent crowd there, although was a bit windy.

He had to give it everything to catch Steele who went from about 400m out!

I was about 150m from the finish line (in front of Borsari's) so did not see the finish. That Steele sounds quality. Will Haas be picked up by another team? Any chance for GreenEDGE?

Woops wasn't steele that sprinted lol. I doubt Haas will go to Green Edge more likely a Pro-Conti team I would suggest.

Gerry Ryan said at the presentation that next year they'll make a play for him but for now they have their 30 man team already.

If he keeps his form, no doubt he'll be at the edge for the start of the 2013 season
