True, but the fact that she took a set off her the other day is very promising as it gives her something to work with. I think she even had a BP to go up 2-0 in the 2nd but then unfortuantely was immediately broken herself. She may've just turned the corner a bit mentally in regards to these dodgy match ups. I didn't see the match though.

No not really, while Sam did well to get a set, Kvitova has such a big ball, it was mainly her errors that helped Sam get that set. I think Kvitova is only going to better too.
Wouldn't take too much notice of the match with Sharapova, Maria clearly wasn't fit.
Good win for Kvitova, she has such a big game and if she can keep a level of consistancy she will be hard to beat. Now for her to stop sounding a puppy barking after every point then the WTA have a star on their hands.
