You gotta hand it to Seb, any other driver would have accidentally found their way into the carnage but again he manages to get something from nothing.

Race to forget for Mark and Romain but for once I thought both were the victims, even if the commentators didn't agree

Very, very entertaining race. Everyone who bagged the Yas Marinas circuit for producing boring, follow the leader racing must be eating their words this morning. Nice to see some real wheel to wheel racing for a change, but it's a pity that the mid tier drivers don't seem to understand how to leave room during passing moves.

Alonso, yet again, showed that there's a lot to be said for setting your car up for a fast race, rather than a single lap during qualifying. Anyone who says Alonso is in a slow car doesn't really understand F1 IMO.

Vettel had an unbelievable race, with the timing of the safety cars playing beautifully into everything he did. After a horrible FP3, and even worse qually you could argue he was due some luck, but he got it back in spades.

Congrats to Raikkonen, he was my dark horse to be world champion before the season started, and this season has shown that he is a great driver.

Vettel did make some blues early in the race.

Hitting Senna and narrowly avoiding the Torro Rosso of Daniel son in a brain fade moment. He also was on softs when alot were on hards, which played to his advantage. There was also alot of carnage unfolding in front of him, which made is job easier.

Having said that though, he probably won the title here, by getting 15 points he shouldn't of. The "i know what i'm doing" lotus driver was in the right spot at the right time , for Vettel.

What? Most of the excitement in the race was generated by the accidents and the following safety cars. Apart from that almost all the passing was in/just after the DRS zones.

Totally agree. And even then most of the passing was out of position cars getting past back markers.

It's just a terribly designed track. Everytime they went to an onboard camera during Qualy and last night I kept thinking "Where the hell are you meant to pass someone?"

Poor driver's from Mark & Dan really.

Well done to Kimi & a great fight back from Vettel but action might be taken for his F -bomb.
