Tommy Haas continues his great year beating Novak 6-2 6-4. Didnt watch it was Novak awful or Tommy outplay him?

Haha, Novak just got schooled by a nearly 35 year old. So incredibly awesome. Really played well, using his amazing backhand to perfection, both the topspin and slice. Novak was off his game, made some uncharacteristic errors obviously but I really think Haas was playing inspired tennis, hope he backs it up against Simon (i'm begging you!).

Man, that was a refreshing result. Haas vs. Simon/Ferrer vs. Melzer will make the final...

Really hope Haas takes the title out now.

A result like that is a reminder that the guys Federer was beating for a number of years really were very good players. I remember Haas took Federer to 5 at the AO one of the years he won it when he was at his very best. And Haas still is a very good player. The cool conditions definitely helped him somewhat I'd say (keeping the bounce of the ball lower) but that's a comprehensive win. Would be great to see him win the title. Haas could be a threat at Wimbledon if he can stay healthy and keep up this form.

So the semis are Gasquet Vs Murray and Ferrer Vs Haas. Hoping for a Murray/Haas final.

Sharapova through to her third straight final with a 6-2 6-1 win over Jankovic. Im just shocked Jankovic made it that far. Sharapova will play the winner of Williams and Radwanska.
