Kyrgios beat Klahn 7-6(5) 2-6 7-6(4). Really good win. He will play Smyczek in the semis who beat Groth 7-6(8) 4-6 6-1. Young beat Reid 6-3 6-4 and wildcard Jenkins beat Ebden 6-7(3) 6-2 6-4.

Little disappointed that a couple of others didn't breakthrough, Groth has got to start winning these sort of mathes or he won't get any higher.

This week there was another 100k challenger in the States and Ebden made the final, however he had a chance at top 100 with a win over Peter Polansky, a player he has beaten before but he lost in straight his morning. Will play the challenger in Melbourne next week.

Ben Mitchell and JP Smith made the quarters too.

Most Aussies are heading back for the Aussie challengers bar Groth and Smith it looks like

Jarmila's back playing. :) Won her first qualifying match in Nanjing 6-2 6-2 against a Chinese nobody.

The final for the Melbourne Challenger is Ebden (beat Ward 6-0 5-7 6-0) vs. Ito (beat Duckworth 4-6 6-3 7-6).

Kok was beaten in the 2nd round by Ebden also.

Ebden really confirming that top 100 spot for the next few months making another challenger final in Asia.

Groth is in a final in the States too against a player he has beaten before. Huge opportunity that I hope he doesn't blow. AO WC is getting more and more likely for him now

Sam lost in the third set tiebreak real shame. He has made good progress this year though just can't take the next step. Probably cemented his WC for the AO now though.

Ebden wins another challenger in Japan making 15 wins on the trot and breaks into the top 70. Amazing effort and he'll be on the main tour for the first few months at least now.

Will do a write up reviewing the season for the Aussies soon enough
