Alright boys and girls the cheat sheet is out but.......

Its phooooookin awful, nothing you can find on there that the regulars on this board arent pumping out anyway.
Ive seen teams on here i fancy more than some of these lads are pushing out

Luckily its $1.99 so hopefully less noobs will choose it and there will be less using it.

But save your time guys and go to the big footy cheat sheet - known as Rate My Dreamteam 2013

And look for some of the regulars ot post their sides in the Round 1 discussion thread and im sure some will be far better than these teams.

The people that do consistently well in DT aren't the ones who use/buy things like this, they do their own research and use their own footy/DT knowledge.

You realise the vast amount of people who play DT aren't on bigfooty everyday. Haven't followed every NAB cup game, and wouldn't mind a little assistance, especially with rookies, injuries they may have missed etc., so the game isn't a disaster for them.

If you're a regular here and a top DT'er you probably arent the target audience.

That's true but when you put in the research and the time that most regulars do, it's very frustrating to have those picks just handed out to someone that just comes along a week before round 1 and sets up their team.

Handing out information and advice is all good. There is news articles everywhere about which rookies to select and who is burning up the track. You can also read plenty of forums with people offering their opinions and information. It's all readily available. The problem I have with it is that they are essentially making selections for a lot of people by posting their teams.

DTT should charge at least $50 for the cheat sheet for this very reason. If that's too expensive, then people could always just do their own research.

Such a whinge. The amount of teams a player is in can be seen in assistant coach. Only 20 players are in over 25% of all teams, 10 of them are rookies. There's still a lot of variation.

The idea that you spent time searching forums makes you choices more valid isn't true, it just means you didn't research as efficiently.

I bought it and yes, I realised that it probably won't do much to aid me. However, I have used dt talk for years, and they have always given me good advice (which has been FREE). If I have to pay 2 dollars to help them make a bit of profit for the work they spend on it, then so be it.
DTT is a waste of time. There's nothing on their website that isn't readily available on the AFL website, SuperFooty and every single AFL forum.

I was simply trying to explain to you the reasoning for some people being against the cheat sheet, if you see that as a whinge then so be it.

Anyway, I'm not going to explain a point that you clearly just don't get. If you believe that copying someone else's selections is just as valid and the way to go then go for it. Good luck :thumbsu:

It would be a mean spirited act for a start.
Against who?

The people who released them to the world on another site

There is no rule against it, i couldnt care who would hate me for doing so

If they dont want teams released then dont release them, those that have them have paid hard earned money for them (life aint easy) esp for a uni student. So once you buy something, no matter what it is in life you can do whatever the F you like with it.

Against the people who are seeking a modest amount of monetary compensation for effort.

Yes, you may have paid your money but to publish it and destroy their potential to sell more is the act of an arseh*le.
