Really happy with the Bankers effort this year. Sitting a few games clear good for the club clearly.
Not sure the VFL purists appreciate the non standalone clubs but it kinda is what it its now.

Cats were a grease fire 15 years ago. Lots of hard work to get to this point. 02, 07, 12 great efforts.

2013? Who knows. Knights has been a brilliant addition and Hood, Rooke, and Wells all doing stellar work.

Here's hoping for a deep run into September....

Ports season falling apart quicker than a celebrity marriage right now.

Have found it very tough to back up after a hugely successful 2011 season. Once the AFL reserves got serious, it was curtains for any old VFA club, especially those standing alone.

Maybe we'll be a chance for another Flag when the comps inevitably split, until then, we can focus on somehow trying to find a way to avenge our 2012 GF loss this weekend and end the season on a high note.

Bankers are very motivated lot right now. AFL and rookie listed players seeing their last chance to push into the seniors. Means they have to play the Geelong way, play their role and do it well. Results in real competition for spot and efforts to stand out from the crowd. Raises all boats really and add in West, Hypen, Josh Hunt, Chappy all teaching and playing hard....
Its a motivated and talented group. I expect a tough game this weekend but look for another large effort.

Haven't helped that Pinwell and Valenti have been missing. Hopefully North Port oval can be right for this weekend as I reckon it will make a huge difference. If that Box Hill game was at Home I think we would have won.

The problem has been our 2nd and 3rd quarters, Galea seems to run out puff after qtr time. The last 2 games he has 8 or 9 goals in the first qtr and just 1 after I think.

This is the truth! Has been a very disrupted season for a lot of star players. Hasn't helped that 3 home games have been at away venues, we are easily a 5-6 goal better side at home, always have been.

I think the decision on whether North Port is playable will be handed down today. I hope it is, I'd hate to have to trek all the way to Frankston or Sandringham just to see us get flogged!
