Hey Swoop I think he has moved on to neutrally observe division 2 - disappointing as he was fun to have around - Is there a bit of confidence around Dreamworld this week that you can welcome back Pine Rivers by beating them?

I would make the trip down however I think with my week off I will travel to Tansey Park and give KP a heap for being a turn coat :)

Then I will make him buy me a beer because I am a top bloke like that. I actually expect Logan although tipped to start slow or maybe not at all to put on a very aggressive and physical contest. Will be good to see how this so called young side from Carrara reacts.
 
all you do is whinge and whine Mighty, the story with your coach from last year was correct me if im wrong. knowone liked him, so he had to go. you had players that were leaving because of him. so don't beat around the bush, Leopards for the Wooden Spoon. Don't like that Mighty Going to be a fun season.

We definitely believe that if our best 22 can take the field in both grades we will give them a good run. I believe they will be very strong and I don't for a minute think we are certainties.

As I said I think the year will be extremely even. No certainties in any game. Really looking forward to the test and meeting the Pine Rivers boys at "Swoopa's Saloon" after the game!

Swoopas Saloon? Gaz has this been ratified as the official name of the new bar? I do look forward to seeing and drinking in the new club house when the buffs come down to Dreamworld this year.

Swoopa loving the quietly confidenct nature of your comment there without paying any disrespect.

I for one rate Pine Rivers as a strong club having played against them many times in juniors and also having seen them up in this league a few years ago. I think this year will be very tight at the top which is good as we all want a good even comp.
 
"Swoopa's Saloon" is open for business :D my nickname around the club isn't Swoopa so it's not the honour that it sounds.

Although I do predict I will be the number 1 patron of the bar!

If you earn it KP it will be waiting but with so many young kids around you might just be found out as the old man you are haha

Can't wait to help make first use of the new facilities Swoopa (or whatever it is they call you around the club). hopefully we can travel back up the M1 with the 4 points and a few cold roadies as well but should be a cracking encounter.

They call me "Rocket", never been able to change my name on Big Footy. Certainly will be a great encounter and look forward to the Swan's patronage.

Been hoping the weather is fine so you enjoy our facilities at their finest!

The new bar is named Swoopers Saloon after our mascot Swooper D'Magpie. I believe only Swoopa and I call it this at this stage but I have faith it will catch on. An official big footy voting system is now in place, $100 per nomination, please deposit direct to my bank account and I will handle things from there.

Coomera are as confident as you can be coming up against a complete unknown in pine rivers, good thing is in 3 days time we'll know what sort of a year we are in for. I'm personally excited to see a very different looking Coomera team in both grades. It's a strange feeling being placed in the "old fat guys category" for selections on Thursday night though.

It doesn't matter, was just curious due to your strong opinion on Calamvale.

How are you guys looking this year compared to last year? Or is that too intrusive also :confused:
 
just a neutral supporter of div 3 not with Ipswich, definitely not with Calamvale. just thought id join in the conversation since a few could talk the talk but couldn't really walk the walk in 2012. just off the bat ill say Ipswich and carrara or pine rivers Grand Final 2013. I heard on the Grapevine Calamvale doesn't have a Liqour License so is it BYO there on the weekend?
