2013 SuperCoach Draft information

Hi guys, just setting up a SC draft and had a couple of questions.

1- in a 10 league team does anyone else think it's excessive to have a final 8? Guessing there are no other options, 4 would be ideal. Anyone going with no finals.

2- DPP. Do you need a link up to use them?

3- What happens when you have no auto emergency- just cop a donut?

My league has re-opened after lockout and all Free Agents are shown as under waiver until 4am Friday.

I was under the impression all Free Agents would be a free-for-all once the lockout ends.

My league setting has waiver period of 3 days for what i thought was Discarded players only.

In another league, a waiver of 2 days is set, but yet all the Free Agents are available Instantly after lockout. WTF?

Also there appeared to be a glitch on Saturday night / Sunday where everything was locked out, even though league setting was Rolling Lockout.

Deadset pissing me off.

Any help, or sympathy comments would be appreciated.

Hey lads,

Got an interesting situation in my draft League. We have a 3 day waiver period which expired this morning and the majority of teams made a number of trades. One of the teams traded out Kreuzer. I've put in a claim for him but he doesn't become available until 4am Saturday which is after lockout. Anyone know if he will still get traded into my team or would I have to wait until next week? I'm trading Jenkins for him who will be on the bench.

Yes Kreuzer is injured but I don't need his points at the moment with Minson, Rough and Cox (FWD). Scored 1920 last week in the 5,6,2,5 format

TLDR version, Will waiver claims be completed during a lockout period?

This is the first year we have played Supercoach draft, and I wasn't there when they setup the League so I am not sure whether this was an option the guys who set it up chose or not. But our Waiver priority order gets reset everyweek in reverse order of ladder position.

I understand fair enough that it may start in reverse order compared to the pick order you had at the draft, but I can see no reason why it would need to reset every week so that the same teams keep getting first crack at all the players every week.

I have been on top of my League since about round 2, and for the last 6 weeks I have been trying to bring in 1 defender to replace my injured players, and each week I get shafted by returning to last place on the waiver priority. I am sure guys are just drafting in the players I want just to piss me off now.

Is this standard for all Leagues, I cant find any mention of it in the rules.

Had to find somewhere to vent, if I bring it up amongst the guys in my League they just wind me up about having a cry..

It's designed to help crap teams catch up.

Think of it this way, if you're on top of the ladder then clearly you don't really need that extra defender; not as much as other teams at least.
